It's been a long week

We have spent every night this week painting or cleaning to get ready to move into the house this weekend.  It has been fun and exciting, but it has also been very tiring.  But, the big day is tomorrow!  We are moving everything over to the new house! 

We are feeling very blessed.  Between Ryan's family, my family, and friends from church we have about 15 people to come and help us move.  Also, Ryan's manager at work offered to give us his 5 year old washer and dryer!  He purchased new ones for his house and wanted to get the other ones out of his garage, so he is giving them to us for free.  The washer and dryer that came with the house work, but they are old and kinda yucky, so I am so excited to have newer ones.

I thought I would share a picture of the new paint color in the living room since it is one of the only decent picture I have of the inside of the house yet. 

We painted the walls a Benjamin Moore color called Gray Owl (or Owl Gray...I can't remember).  I love the color!  It is bright and makes the room feel open and airy.  I also liked that it reads as a true gray, not too green or blue.  After we finished painting I just wanted to move all of our furniture in so I could start decorating.  Since we had no way of doing that until this weekend, I appeased myself with just moving our orange chair, rug, and little foot stool, just to get the idea of what the colors would look like in the room. 

I am excited for tomorrow.  It will be really great to be living out of only one place, and to finally be able to start decorating our new house.
