The open house went so well! We had about 40 people total, which would have been too many to fit in our little house, but thankfully it was beautiful outside that day so people could enjoy the patio and the lawn. It was a fun day, and really fun to be able to show off our house a little.
This last weekend Ryan's parents and two younger brother came to visit us. On Saturday night, we went out to one of Ryan and my favorite restaurants. It is called Tochi, and the serve ramen. Most people think of ramen as just the nasty 10 cent noodles you buy with the little flavor packs, but true ramen is really delicious! The noodles are the same, but that is about it, the rest is just pure deliciousness. Here is what I had...
Looks delicious right?! And nothing like the noodles from those 10 cent packages. Here are the boys eating theirs.
Then on Sunday we went to the zoo. There was a special exhibit at the zoo where you could pet sting rays. It as so cool! There was a giant pool, and the sting rays just swim around and as they pass you, you stick your hand in the pool and pet them on the back. They felt smooth and slightly slimy, and they really didn't seem to mind being pet by everyone.
We also saw some flamingos, my favorite!
And even made some Mold-O-Ramas!
We haven't seen them since we moved in, so it had been awhile. It was a nice weekend, and it was great to hangout with Ryan's family.
Yum! That looks like a restaurant I will have to check out!
